There are several wonderful fishing destinations on the Baja Peninsula, we will name just a few. A prime spot for spring yellowtail fishing is LORETO. Loreto is located 750 miles south of the border. It can be reached by either car or airplane, we recommend flying . Loreto also offers excellent fishing for dorado and sailfish in the summertime. A word about the weather in Loreto in the summertime HOT! There are two excellent hotels in Loreto, Hotel Oasis and the La Pinta Hotel.

    Further south you'll the EAST CAPE. June to October is prime time on the East Cape. One of our favorite spots is Hotel Punta Colorada. At the south end of Palmas Bay, the hotel overlooks one the best Roosterfish habitats in the world. Just a few miles offshore you can also find marlin, tuna and dorado.If Hotel Punta Colorado is booked you can also try the following resorts: Palmas de Cortez, Playa del Sol, Buenavista Resort or Rancho Leonero.At the southern tip of baja you'll find SAN JOSE del CABO and CABO SAN LUCAS. Both have their own charm. We prefer San Jose, with the Gordo Banks just 12 miles offshore. Lodging can be found at the Tropicana Hotel or the Fiesta Inn. Cabo San Lucas also offers great fishing as well as various other forms of entertainment. You can stay at the world famous Solmar Hotel or the following hotels: Plaza Las Glorias, or Melia San Lucas.
