Ono Custom Rods 2007 5 Day Trip

    I want to thank all of you for joining us on our 2007 trip.   The fishing was par with what the fleet experienced during the days we were out on the water.  The quality of the yellowtail fishing was excellent. As for the offshore water the fishing was a roll of the dice.  And sometimes the we busted and sometimes we broke even but no big winners for us.

    For those of you who have been on Ono Rods Trips before I know that you were disappointed with not being able to fish Guadalupe Island for the larger Yellowfin Tuna. The whole fleet have not been able to fish Guadalupe Island this season.  All the vessels are still waiting for their permits to come in.  But as of Aug. 12th still no permits.

    This is annual trip for Ono Custom Rods and we have already started to make plans for 2008.  The Rooster and I have talked about fishing the same days as next year, Aug. 2nd to 7th.
